Franz Snags StC Batting Honor in July Saturday, August 1st , 2026 Jim Franz, the Denver second baseman, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .305 batting average with 32 hits, 9 home runs, 22 RBIs and scored 19 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Stripes Conference Batter of the Month honors for July. Posting a .261 batting average to date, Franz has 11 home runs and 35 RBIs. |
