SC Announces #1 Player Award

Keith Roberts took ABA Development League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 23.
For his spectacular campaign, the Hartford Matadors star has been named the 2020 Stars Conference Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the second baseman.
On the season he compiled a .300 batting average to go with a .350 on-base percentage. The native of Minneapolis, Minnesota also added 21 doubles, 1 triple, 17 home runs, 74 RBIs and 41 runs scored.
He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 24. Brian Massey of the Chesapeake Tailgators finished second in voting with 9 first place votes, while Rick Joyce of the Nashville Lasers finished third with 2 first place votes.
