Reliever Claims StC Pitching Award Monday, July 1st , 2024 Hickory Crawdads fans lauded the selection of reliever Dusty Nelson as Stripes Conference Pitcher of the Month for June. The 22-year-old hurler was nothing short of masterful, holding enemy hitters to a .234 average. In no relief appearances he put up a 4-1 record, no saves, 27 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.80 over 35.1 innings. Nelson has made no relief appearances this year and notched no saves. To date in 92.1 innings he has a 8-2 record, 3.90 ERA with 73 strikeouts and 30 walks. |
