Howard Goes Downtown 3 Times Against Selects
Tuesday, September 27th , 2022
Randolph Prairie Thunder center fielder Gabe Howard had a magnificent game against the Spokane Selects, rocketing three balls out of Prairie Thunder Ballpark to help the Prairie Thunder win, 11-4.
"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."
For the game, Howard went 4-for-5 with 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Randolph manager Michael Kelleher said later. "Seems like Gabe found his home run stroke today."
Gabe Howard flied out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Cory Gregerson in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Cory Gregerson in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jeff Rochefort in the 8th.
So far this year, Howard has hit .257 with 12 home runs, 37 RBIs and 48 runs scored.
