Quebec right fielder Chris Epstein thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Quebec to a 7-3 win over Glendale. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Epstein said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Epstein was 3-for-4 on the day with 5 RBI. Chris Epstein hit a two-run home run off Terry Droubay in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Terry Droubay in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Matt Jackson in the 7th. For the season, Epstein is hitting at a .308 clip with 13 home runs, 29 RBIs and has scored 26 runs. He has 41 hits, 12 walks and a .372 on-base percentage. |
