Laredo Ghosts Win Top Spot in Stars Conference West Division Tuesday, September 15th , 2020 Let loose, Laredo fans, your team has won the Stars Conference West Division. The Laredo Ghosts have officially captured the crown, the 5th in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said first baseman Julian Chavez. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 85-55 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 1st ABA Development League championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Josh Miller. "This is what you play for." |
