Monday, October 25th , 2021
At the age of 22, Ken Allbaugh says he still has a lot to learn about life in ABA Development League.
But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Glendale Muskies reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2021 Stars Conference Reliever of the Year Award.
"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Villas, Florida native said.
For the season, Allbaugh had 28 saves in 39 relief appearances, which totaled 40. He fanned 46 betters, while walking 6 and put up a record of 3-1 to go with his 1.35 ERA.
He received 15 first place votes out of a possible 24. Rich Wilkinson of the Portland Mad Ants finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Ricky Hill of the Hartford Matadors finished third.
