Injury Sidelines Alec Wright For Year Friday, August 11th , 2023 Alec Wright will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Montreal starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Wright was injured while throwing a pitch in the Royals-Tailgators clash at Tailgators Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has an arthritic elbow and would be out a minimum of 4 months. To date this season, Wright is 8-2 with 14 starts and an ERA of 2.63 with 82 strikeouts in 78.2 innings. |
