Marshalls Lose David Diaz Friday, October 11th , 2019 A blow for David Diaz today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a severely strained hip muscle. Diaz suffered the injury running the bases. Although officials from the Fremont Marshalls are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Diaz's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. For the year Diaz is batting .233 with 68 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 32 times and driven in 36. |
