Montreal Captures Wild Card Thursday, September 12th , 2019 Tom Rise of the Montreal Royals said fighting for a playoff spot is an "absolute grind" in ABA Development League. The grind is now over, as the Royals have captured a wild card berth. "It's a weight off our shoulders and now we can exhale," said the starting pitcher. "It's hard to describe how much effort and focus goes into this." Team manager Bobby White believes his club has something to prove and they are looking forward to the postseason. |
