Star of the Week Named in StC Monday, July 17th , 2023 One of the league's most exciting young players, Danny Espinoza of the Fremont Marshalls earned himself Stripes Conference Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 23-year-old first baseman had a lofty .429 average (12-for-28), collecting 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This year, Espinoza is hitting .256 with 14 home runs and 39 RBIs in 73 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .350 with 39 walks and 37 runs scored. |
