Oaks Sit Atop Stripes Conference East Division Friday, September 6th , 2019 The Orono Oaks are champions of the Stripes Conference East Division, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the World Series," said starting pitcher Justin Jemison. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Orono." The club's record currently sits at 90-47. It is the team's 7th division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 3rd ABA Development League championship. Team manager Mike Sanchez said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
