Stripes Conference West Division Winner is Hickory Crawdads Monday, September 13th , 2021 Hickory Crawdads fans are walking a little prouder today after their team officially clinched the Stripes Conference West Division. "There's no reason to believe we can't win it all," starting pitcher Matt Schapp said bluntly. "Whether or not we're favorites, we can definitely do what it takes to bring the World Series home to Hickory." The division crown is the 2nd for the Crawdads. The club will be looking for its 1st World Series victory. Team manager Ray Sanchez said "preparation and focus" will be key to bring home the championship. |
