Star of the Week Picked in SC Monday, June 23rd , 2025 Not every ball that came off Paul Simister's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Hartford Matadors. For his exploits, Simister was named this week's Stars Conference Player of the Week award. The Hartford catcher put up 11 hits in 21 at-bats and no home runs while hitting .524 with 7 RBIs and 2 runs scored. To date Simister has chalked up a .310 average with 5 home runs, driven in 25 runs and scored 20 times. |
