Season-Ending Injury for Kevin Miller
Sunday, June 22nd , 2025
The doctors have spoken and Kevin Miller of the Baxter Springs Marshals didn't like what he heard. The 22-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Miller sustained his season-ending injury during the Montreal Royals game yesterday at Marshals Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Baxter Springs medical staff reported Miller had radial nerve compression and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7-8 months.
So far this year, Miller has delivered 1 save. In 6 relief appearances he has 20 strikeouts in 17.1 innings with a 4.15 ERA and 3 wins and 1 loss.
