Postseason Bid Ends for Lubbock Thursday, September 9th , 2021 While they stayed relevant until late in the season, a playoff berth wasn't meant to be this season for the Lubbock Stampede. The club was eliminated from playoff contention today. "Even though we knew where things stood, it's a disappointment," Stampede manager William Maysonet said. The Stampede have missed the playoffs 12 times in their 17 years as a ABA Development League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2016. In the last 10 seasons, the Stampede have made the playoffs 4 times. |
