Wilkes Hot, Raccoons Cold Saturday, August 31st , 2019 Ann Arbor Z's hurler Josh Wilkes was at his best as he beat the Tucson Raccoons, 10-0. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Tucson manager Bill Escobar. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Wilkes fired a 6-hitter and totaled 8 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout performance. This season Wilkes has registered 11 wins and 9 losses in 27 starts with a 2.84 ERA. |
