Royals Crowned Kings of the Stars Conference East Division Thursday, September 8th , 2022 Those who doubted them are eating crow and those who believed in them are reminding everyone of their faith. The Montreal Royals have captured the crown as Stars Conference East Division champions. "It's nice to wrap this up a little bit early so we don't have to sweat it out down the stretch," said closer Joe Hewson. "A lot of people didn't know how we would make out this year, so it's nice to show people what our team is all about." The club currently has a 87-49 record which is good for their 6th division title. The team will be vying for its 2nd World Series. |
