Patrick Stripes Conference's Hottest Hitter Monday, June 17th , 2024 Westwood fans have something to crow about today as Westwood right fielder Joel Patrick nabbed the Stripes Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Patrick. He posted a .480 average (12-for-25) this past week with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs, and 7 runs scored. Currently Patrick is batting .343 with 49 hits and 11 home runs. He has knocked in 38 runs and scored 28 times. |
