Stars Conference West Division Champs Crowned: Hartford Matadors Tuesday, September 6th , 2022 Hartford Matadors fans have reason to celebrate today, as their franchise is the class of the Stars Conference West Division. With their record standing at 83-51, the club officially wrapped up the division title today, for the 6th time. Manager Jesse Heugly said everyone on their roster is looking forward to the postseason and trying to capture the club's 2nd championship. "That's what you dream about your whole life," Heugly said. Shortstop Roy Blaylock added that it's a great feeling to win the division, but said ultimately, a World Series victory is what will mark success for the club. |
