Portland SP Pat Eisenhower Injured
Wednesday, May 29th , 2024
Pat Eisenhower of the Mad Ants just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old Portland starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Montreal Royals recently at Mad Ants Ballpark. Eisenhower suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. The Mad Ants medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 13-14 months.
This year, Eisenhower has fashioned a 1-0 mark, 6.05 ERA and pitched 19.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .370 against him and he has logged 12 strikeouts.
