Chesapeake Starter Named SC's Best Pitcher Saturday, August 1st , 2020 A 5-0 record with a 1.62 ERA is a good month for most any pitcher. The Stars Conference thought it was worthy of an award and named Jaden Mack, starter for the Chesapeake Tailgators, July's Pitcher of the Month. He also held the opposition to a .171 average while posting 44 strikeouts in 44.1 innings. So far this season, Mack has logged a 10-8 record with a 3.06 ERA. He has started 20 games, hurled 138.1 innings and registered 125 strikeouts and 20 walks. |
