Selects McKibbins Snags StC Player of the Week Monday, July 4th , 2022 A hot-hitting week got Ian McKibbins the Stripes Conference Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Spokane left fielder slammed them for a .370 average, 10 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and scored 5 runs. In the postgame press conference, McKibbins shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." For the year, McKibbins is batting .250 with 55 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 23 times and driven in 37. |
