Walnut Park's Hickenbottom Acclaimed Best StC Hitter Friday, July 1st , 2022 Colt Hickenbottom is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Walnut Park center fielder joined that select company when the Stripes Conference announced the results of June's voting. Hickenbottom totaled 27 hits, 16 walks, 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 12 runs scored last month to put together a .321 batting average and .436 on-base percentage. So far this year in 62 games, Hickenbottom is hitting .264 with 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |
