Siegfried Tosses No-Hitter Against Pilots Saturday, August 24th , 2019 The Quebec Fighting Quakers had a lot to celebrate today as 27-year-old hurler Steve Siegfried no-hit the Denver Pilots at Toros Ballpark today. In an impressive outing that keyed the Fighting Quakers to a 2-0 victory, Siegfried had 8 strikeouts and surrendered 4 walks. "He mixed his pitches well and hit his spots, plus he got a little help from above," said Quebec manager Jeff Gray. "Steve really took it to another level today." For the year Siegfried has a 5-11 record with a 2.96 ERA in 17 starts. |
