Tailgators End MacDonald Streak Friday, August 27th , 2021 The 26-game hitting streak of Art MacDonald has come to an end. The Baxter Springs Marshals left fielder went 0-for-4 in his team's 4-0 loss to the Chesapeake Tailgators at Marshals Ballpark. "It's not just Art who came up short," Marshals manager Mitsuaki Sakaguchi said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." MacDonald is batting .279 this year with 16 home runs, 51 RBIs and 68 runs scored. He has 138 hits in 494 at-bats. |
