MacDonald Stretches Hit String to 25 Tuesday, August 24th , 2021 Art MacDonald's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-5 in his team's 3-2 triumph over the Little Rock Governors at Ballpark of Newport News. The 22-year-old left fielder has now hit safely in 25 consecutive games for the Marshals. Art MacDonald grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Currently MacDonald has 16 home runs and a .282 batting average. |
