Jarka Hits for the Cycle Saturday, June 17th , 2023 Mitch Jarka was hard to stop but his Fremont Marshalls were not. The Westwood Bruins overcame a cycle by Jarka to win, 11-10, against the Marshalls at Jackie Robinson Stadium. "It feels good for me, but it would have felt even better if we had won that ballgame," Jarka told the press corps. "I still enjoy it, but I would've liked to win the game, too." He cracked 4 hits in 6 at-bats, had 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Although his team lost, the Marshalls center fielder will still get his place in the record books. Mitch Jarka doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Rodrigo Izquierdo in the 6th, hit a two-run triple in the 7th, grounded out in the 8th and flied out in the 11th.
