Oaks R.J. Lawhead Will Miss Season Saturday, July 10th , 2021 A blow for R.J. Lawhead today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 13-14 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Lawhead suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Orono Oaks are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Lawhead's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season to date, Lawhead has a record of 7 wins and 3 losses with a 1.31 ERA, has appeared in 16 games and struck out 75 in 96.1 innings. |
