Stars Conference Selects June's Best Batter Thursday, July 1st , 2021 Jim Sykora may be much younger than other hitters in the Stars Conference, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in June to win the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old Laredo first baseman hit .330 with 7 home runs, 25 RBIs and 19 runs scored. This year, Sykora is hitting .274 with 69 hits, 14 home runs, 53 RBIs and has scored 41 runs. |
