Fields Holds Stampede Scoreless Friday, May 31st , 2019 Alpha Fields scattered 3 hits over 9 innings, going the distance in the 4-0 Chesapeake Tailgators victory over the Lubbock Stampede at Tailgators Ballpark. The 31-year-old Fields whiffed 5 and allowed no walks in the game. "Not perfect today, but I'll definitely take it," Fields said later. "I made a couple mistakes but thankfully they didn't get all of them and the guys behind me cleaned things up." Up to now Fields has recorded a record of 1-1. In 5 starts he has fanned 13 batters in 31.2 innings with a 2.84 ERA. |
