Ghosts Solid Suspended Friday, April 18th , 2025 Shortly after yesterday's Ghosts-Muskies game ended, Justin Solid's on-field tantrum seemed almost comical. In response to being ejected for questioning a called third strike, the Laredo first baseman tossed his hat to the dirt and kicked it repeatedly. He couldn't help but laugh at himself and his over-the-top, hat-kicking, anger-laced tirade. "It was funny," Solid said. "I was hoping I could kick it all the way to the dugout." The umpiring crew, however, didn't find it funny and neither did the league. Though Solid said he did not think his actions warranted a suspension, he will miss 2 games. This season, Solid is hitting .233 with no home runs. |
