Week's #1 Player Honored by SC Monday, May 17th , 2021 Jason Coppa demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Stars Conference Player of the Week Award. The Chesapeake first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .360 average (9-for-25) with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. For the year, Coppa has hit at a .307 clip with 18 RBIs, 5 home runs and 19 runs scored. |
