Ortiz on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Tuesday, April 1st , 2025 The Charleston Sea Dogs wasted a big day at the plate by first baseman Juan Ortiz in their 13-12 loss to the Toronto Trash Pandas. Ortiz hit for the cycle, stroking 4 hits off the Toronto pitching staff in a losing effort. "I actually didn't feel particularly great out there today," Ortiz said in the clubhouse following the loss. "It was kind of random chance that the balls found some gaps, and here we are." For the day, he finished 4-for-5, had 5 RBI and scored 3 runs. Juan Ortiz struck out in the 1st, tripled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Allen Anderson in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
