Clare Belts 5 Hits Friday, April 3rd , 2026 San Francisco third baseman Jason Clare had a big day at San Francisco Grounds against the Carolina Reapers. The 22-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 10-1 Fire triumph over Carolina. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Clare said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."
