O'Halloran Blanks Giants, 11-0 Friday, April 9th , 2021 Ben O'Halloran was throwing strikes early and getting ahead in the count, his manager said after the Tampa Bay Captains hurler tossed a 6-hit, complete game shutout against the Detroit Giants. "I went right after each hitter, trying to get ahead in the count," said O'Halloran. "I wanted them to swing the bats and keep my pitch count down. It worked.
