Cincinnati Takes Wildcard Game Saturday, September 28th , 2024 The Cincinnati Royals have swept the Indianapolis Eagles and are on to the Divisional Series. Cincinnati won 11-4 today at Eagles Stadium to clinch the Wildcard Game. "We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Cincinnati left fielder Eric Hayes, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning." Hayes won the award with a .556 batting average and a .556 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Cincinnati Royals will play against the Charleston Sea Dogs in the next round. Charleston had a bye in the Wildcard Game.
