Whistlers Advance to Championship Series Tuesday, October 13th , 2026 The Boston Whistlers didn't hold back their excitement after beating the Philadelphia Marauders in the Divisional Series tonight. Members of the team rushed onto the field and celebrated joyously when the victory became official, with a 11-9 win moving the club on to the Championship Series, clinching a 4-1 series win in front of the Marauders Ballpark crowd. "This isn't the big one, but of course we need to get through this before we can win a World Series, so it's an important step," said Brian Roseman as he took a break from celebrating. "Our guys are happy and excited to be moving on." Roseman was named series MVP, as he hit .364 with a .364 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 7 runs. On the other side of the diamond, there was desolation. Many members of the Marauders sat stone-faced in their dugouts, simply watching Boston celebrate. The Boston Whistlers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Halifax Heathens - Austin Desperados series. Halifax leads the series 3 games to 1.
