Halifax Wins Divisional Series Monday, October 6th , 2025 The Halifax Heathens are one step closer to winning a World Series, and the season came to a close for the Boston Whistlers. Halifax won the Divisional Series 4-2, with a 8-6 victory in the deciding game at Whislters Park today. Halifax second baseman Chance Smith was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .346 with a .370 on-base percentage. He had 1 homers, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs. "I just hope I can keep it up in the Championship Series," he said. The Halifax Heathens will play against the Philadelphia Marauders in the next round. Philadelphia won their series against the Phoenix Gladiators 4 games to 1. The Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
