Nowlin Crafts 5-0 Shutout Versus Daytona Beach Friday, September 6th , 2024 Bobby Nowlin kept the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles hitters from doing much damage at Leatherback Park. Daytona Beach could only muster 4 hits and draw 3 walks against the right-handed Nowlin, who controlled them throughout the game. Chicago won the contest, 5-0. Nowlin added 4 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Nowlin told reporters after the shutout win.
