The Boston Whistlers used the hitting of designated hitter Tim Lotz to subdue the Charleston Sea Dogs, 8-4. For the game, Lotz went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The first-place Whistlers have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.
