Daniel Belts 5 Hits Saturday, August 9th , 2025 Eric Daniel was sizzling at the plate. The Hollywood first baseman blistered the Indianapolis Eagles for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to defeat, 6-4. "Daniel was too tough to get out today," Eagles skipper Pete DuBay said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win." Eric Daniel singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Greg Camarillo in the 9th.
