Green Slaps 5 Hits Wednesday, September 9th , 2026 5 times is the charm -- at least for Mike Green. The Carolina Reapers right fielder tore up the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Leatherback Park. The offensive onslaught from Green powered the 8-7 Reapers win. "Green was a tough out," Daytona Beach manager Danny Sanchez said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Mike Green hit a solo-shot off Nate McClaskey in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
