Great Day for Julio -- 5 Hits Thursday, August 20th , 2026 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Clemente Julio. Julio went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Chicago pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Gladiators Ballpark, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Phoenix Gladiators had a win, 10-7, over the Gangsters. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Clemente Julio doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. For the season, Julio has hit .297 with 18 home runs and 61 RBIs.
