Stars Move on to Championship Series Monday, October 10th , 2022 The Hollywood Stars said they felt the Divisional Series with the Maine Pines would go the distance. But it didn't end up being that difficult, as Hollywood advanced to the Championship Series with a 2-1 score, to clinch the series 4-1 at Hannaford Dome. "Whether it goes to the final game or not, we faced a good team and got the job done. It's a big momentum boost for us," said Eric Daniel, who was named series MVP. "We're all feeling good about our chances to win the World Series." For the series, Daniel hit .400 with a .429 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Hollywood Stars don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Oakland Invaders - Cincinnati Royals series. Oakland leads the series 3 games to 1.
