The Providence Hex picked up a win at Jammers Park, topping the Julian Jammers, 4-3. On the mound for Providence was right-hander Eric Kretzer. He played a principal role in the triumph. Miguel de Leon notched his 3rd save of the season. Julian is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 7 in a row.

Dave Pollock had a direct impact on the outcome. Pollock contributed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put Providence up, 4-3.

After the game, Providence manager Dave Hale applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
