Emary Stops Daytona Beach Tuesday, July 22nd , 2025 The Daytona Beach Sea Turtles were almost helpless in their 7-0 loss to the Austin Desperados and hurler Jason Emary. Emary kept the Sea Turtles confused all game, spinning a 3-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Emary," Daytona Beach manager Ken Bennett said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 23-year-old right-hander had no walks and 5 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Emary said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."
