Royals Win Wildcard Game Saturday, October 2nd , 2021 The Indianapolis Eagles were simply overmatched by the Cincinnati Royals in the Wildcard Game. The end result was a sweep, as Cincinnati has cruised to the Divisional Series, with the final win coming at Eagles Stadium by a score of 5-1. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Heath Sherlock, who was named MVP of the Wildcard Game. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Sherlock hit .500 with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Cincinnati Royals will play against the Maine Pines in the next round.
