Wilber Spins 15-K Game Saturday, June 8th , 2024 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Pat Wilber, the Boston Whistlers topped the Indianapolis Eagles by a score of 11-2 at Whislters Park. The 22-year-old Wilber brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 2 hits and giving up 2 walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Eagles manager Pete DuBay said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."
