Royals, Harvey Blank Indianapolis, 2-0 Thursday, May 23rd , 2024 The Indianapolis Eagles were almost helpless in their 2-0 loss to the Cincinnati Royals and hurler Dave Harvey. Harvey kept the Eagles confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Harvey," Indianapolis manager Pete DuBay said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 26-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 10 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Harvey said.
